Beskrivning
The Von Norten Athena Slim Silver Rechargeable Table Lamp is a cordless, portable LED table lamp — the tall, slender Athena in silver, warm light on a 22 cm iron base, cool-toned enough to sit alongside silver cutlery, steel and glass without competing with them.
Designed in Stockholm and built around Von Norten’s interchangeable fabric lampshades, so a single base can be restyled as often as the table setting changes.
Best for: larger dining tables, bar and counter tops, and modern interiors where brass would read as too warm.
Warm, dimmable light
Athena Slim Silver uses a warm 2700K–3000K LED to create soft, inviting ambient light.
A single button on the base cycles through three brightness levels — low, medium and high — and then off.
With a colour rendering index of CRI Ra >80, Athena Slim Silver renders food, flowers and glassware naturally — which matters more on a dining table than raw brightness does.
Rechargeable and cordless
Athena Slim Silver runs on an integrated 5200 mAh rechargeable lithium battery. A full charge takes 4–6 hours over the included USB-C cable and gives 15–20 hours of light, depending on the brightness setting — comfortably more than a full evening service.
Because Athena Slim Silver is completely cordless, it can be carried between tables, taken outside for dinner and brought back in, with no trailing cable and no need for a socket nearby.
Interchangeable lampshades
Von Norten lampshades mount on a universal E27/E14 ring fitting, the standard by which shades and bases are matched across Europe. The shade you choose is included in the price, and further shades are available in small, medium and large, in a wide range of fabrics, prints, colours and trims — and because the fitting is a standard one, most shades made for ordinary lamp bases will fit as well.
The same base can take on a classical, modern or bold character depending on which shade it is paired with.
Using Athena Slim Silver outdoors
Athena Slim Silver is rated IP20, which means it is designed for indoor use and has no protection against water. It can be used outdoors in dry weather — on a terrace, at an outdoor table — but should be brought inside if it starts to rain. For a lamp built to stay outside, see Ophelia, which is rated IP54.

Frequently asked questions
How long does the battery last on one charge?
15–20 hours, depending on which brightness setting you use. Charging takes 4–6 hours over the included USB-C cable.
Will Von Norten lampshades fit other lamps?
Yes. The shades use a universal E27/E14 ring fitting, the standard by which shades and bases are matched across Europe, so they fit every Von Norten base and most table lamps from other makers.
How tall is the finished lamp?
The base is 22 cm. With a shade the total is 31 cm (small), 32.5 cm (medium) or 35.5 cm (large) — a shade does not add its full height, because the ring fitting sits partway up inside it.
Can Athena Slim Silver be used outdoors?
In dry weather, yes. It is rated IP20 with no water protection, so bring it indoors if it rains. Ophelia is the model rated for outdoor use.
Can the bulb be replaced?
Yes. Athena Slim Silver uses a replaceable E14 LED bulb rather than a sealed light source.
Is Athena Slim Silver suitable for restaurants and cafés?
Yes. A single charge covers a full service, there is no cable to route across a table, and the lamps can be charged overnight.
What is the difference between Athena Slim Silver and Athena Slim Gold?
Only the finish — silver rather than gold and brass. Identical dimensions, battery, light and shade compatibility.
