The Von Norten Andalucia Rechargeable Table Lamp is a cordless, portable LED table lamp and the largest in the range at 35 cm, built on an iron base with a hand-woven rattan shade. The weave breaks the light into a soft, patterned glow rather than a flat pool — the reason Andalucia tends to be chosen as a room lamp rather than a table lamp.
Designed in Stockholm and entirely cordless, so it can sit on a side table, a shelf or a windowsill with no socket anywhere near it.
Best for: side tables, shelves, window sills and larger surfaces where a taller lamp has room to breathe; rooms where you want texture in the light itself.
Warm, dimmable light
Andalucia uses a warm 2700K LED to create soft, inviting ambient light.
A single button on the base cycles through three brightness levels — low, medium and high — and then off.
With a colour rendering index of CRI Ra >85, Andalucia renders food, flowers and glassware naturally — which matters more on a dining table than raw brightness does.
Rechargeable and cordless
Andalucia runs on an integrated 5200 mAh rechargeable lithium battery. A full charge takes 4–6 hours over the included USB-C cable and gives 15–20 hours of light, depending on the brightness setting — comfortably more than a full evening service.
Because Andalucia is completely cordless, it can be carried between tables, taken outside for dinner and brought back in, with no trailing cable and no need for a socket nearby.
Using Andalucia outdoors
Andalucia is rated IP20, which means it is designed for indoor use and has no protection against water. It can be used outdoors in dry weather — on a terrace, at an outdoor table — but should be brought inside if it starts to rain. For a lamp built to stay outside, see Ophelia, which is rated IP54.

Can the shade be changed?
No. The shade is part of the lamp. Athena, Athena Slim and Antibes are the Von Norten models built for interchangeable shades.
Can Andalucia be used outdoors?
