Belgravia Blossom is the newest of the scalloped shades and the most generous. The curved hem is cut in a larger, deeper wave, and the shade sweeps from a 14 cm top to a full 30 cm at the base — scale enough for the scallop to become architecture rather than detail. Soft linen, with a delicate trim at the top and bottom.
The steep flare pushes light out and down, lighting a whole table rather than a single place setting.
Large shades are proportioned for the taller lamp bases — Amalfi, Chelsea, Antibes and Athena Slim — and sit equally well on a larger base you may already own from another maker. On a shorter base the effect is deliberately generous and low-slung, which suits some rooms very well.
Fits most lamps, not only ours
Belgravia Blossom is built on a universal E27/E14 ring fitting — the standard by which lampshades and lamp bases are matched across Europe. It sits on every Von Norten base, and on most table lamps from other makers, corded or rechargeable. If your lamp takes an E27 or E14 bulb and carries its shade on a ring fitting, this shade will fit it.
Because the fitting sits partway inside the shade, a shade does not add its full height to the lamp. This one adds 13.5 cm:
