Indigo across a pale ground, in the oldest and most widespread of all ikat colourways. The yarn is dyed before weaving, which gives every edge of the pattern its soft feathered bloom.
Indigo holds its depth when lit, so the pattern stays clearly legible rather than washing out.

Fits most lamps, not only ours
Blue Ikat is built on a universal E27/E14 ring fitting — the standard by which lampshades and lamp bases are matched across Europe. It sits on every Von Norten base, and on most table lamps from other makers, corded or rechargeable. If your lamp takes an E27 or E14 bulb and carries its shade on a ring fitting, this shade will fit it.
Because the fitting sits partway inside the shade, a shade does not add its full height to the lamp. This one adds 9 cm:

How much height does this shade add to the lamp?
9 cm. The ring fitting sits partway up inside the shade, so the shade does not add its full height — on an Athena base the finished lamp stands 27 cm tall.

Can I buy the shade on its own?
