A deep botanical green, dyed into the yarn before it goes on the loom so the pattern never quite resolves into a hard edge. That softness is the whole character of ikat, and it is what keeps a green this saturated from ever looking printed.
Green filters the warm LED towards something closer to light falling through leaves.
Small enough for a place setting, and particularly handsome against a brass or gold finish.
Fits most lamps, not only ours
Green Ikat is built on a universal E27/E14 ring fitting — the standard by which lampshades and lamp bases are matched across Europe. It sits on every Von Norten base, and on most table lamps from other makers, corded or rechargeable. If your lamp takes an E27 or E14 bulb and carries its shade on a ring fitting, this shade will fit it.
Because the fitting sits partway inside the shade, a shade does not add its full height to the lamp. This one adds 9 cm:
- Athena (18 cm base) → 27 cm
- Athena Slim (22 cm base) → 31 cm
- Amalfi and Chelsea (25 cm base) → 34 cm
- Antibes (29.5 cm base) → 38.5 cm

How much height does this shade add to the lamp?
9 cm. The ring fitting sits partway up inside the shade, so the shade does not add its full height — on an Athena base the finished lamp stands 27 cm tall.

Can I buy the shade on its own?
